Monthly Grief Recovery Group
We understand this is a difficult time and we would like to offer support as you begin to think about resuming life after your loss.
Beginning on May 4, 2016 and continuing on the first Wednesday evening of each month, at 7:00 pm a Grief Recovery Specialist is available at Martin Funeral Home, to help bring a sense of peace and comfort to you and your family as you begin to process your own feelings related to your loss.
It's our commitment to our Hunterdon County Community and the families we serve to help with all aspects when dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Did you know...
Ever wonder what funeral directors do each of our families?
Funeral directors are both caregivers and administrators.
In their administrative duties, they make the arrangements for transportation of the body, complete all necessary paperwork, and implement the choices made by the family regarding the funeral and final disposition of the body.
As caregivers, funeral directors are listeners, advisors and supporters. They have experience assisting the bereaved in coping with death. Funeral directors are trained to answer questions about grief, recognize when a person is having difficulty coping, and recommend sources of professional help. Funeral directors also link survivors with support groups at the funeral home or in the community.
