Obituary of Kevin P. Fenton

Kevin Patrick Fenton—64—Devoted father and husband Kevin Fenton, formerly of Mountainside, passed away in his Florida home on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014. Born in Jersey City, Kevin moved to Mountainside in 1955. He attended St. James School in Springfield, St. Benedict's Academy in Newark prior to attending Fairfield University and later New Jersey College of Engineering, where he earned an undergraduate degree in engineering. Kevin also earned a law degree from the University Of Miami School Of Law. Kevin was a loyal and fun loving family man, who had a contagious laugh and a passion for life. He will be dearly missed by all of those who called him family or friend. Kevin leaves behind his beloved wife, Julie, of 29 years, two sons, Bryan and Steven and his wife Jessica. He is predeceased by his father, Dr. John Patrick Fenton and his brother Dr. Sean T. Fenton. Kevin is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Fenton of Mountainside, as well as brothers Brian and Brendan; sisters Colleen, Kathleen, Eileen, Maureen, and Meghan, in addition to their spouses and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was laid to rest on Saturday, October 25th, 2014 in a private ceremony.
