Obituary of Annette C. Vanderkooi

Annette C. Vanderkooi, age 80, of Glen Gardner, NJ died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center of Raritan Township, NJ. Annette was born July 16, 1934 in Summit NJ. She was the daughter of the late Vito and the late Carmella (Fernicola) Cianci. She resided in Chatham, Jim Thorpe PA and Toms River throughout her life time. Nana loved knitting and crocheting for anyone and everyone. Her family was her life. Annette was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2013. Her infant son William and her sisters Marie, Rose, and Carmel also predeceased her. Surviving is her daughter, Susan and her husband Joseph Shanahan of Glen Gardner, NJ. Son: Joseph and his wife Phyllis Vanderkooi of Mine Hill, NJ. Granddaughters, Kimberly and her husband Lincoln of Charleston, SC, Jessica of Philadelphia PA and Katie of Mine Hill NJ. The Visitation will take place Friday, February 27th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian burial held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 28 at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ. The interment will follow at St. Teresa's Cemetery and Mausoleum in Summit, NJ.
