Obituary of Arthur L. Bertha

Arthur "Artie" Louis Bertha born in Edison, NJ on April 16, 1938 and entered into eternal rest on Friday April 3, 2015. Artie is pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Helen Bertha and brother, Albert. Artie grew up in Edison, NJ later moving to Milltown, NJ where he lived until he retired, eventually residing in Florida. He served in the Army stationed in Korea and was a Pipefitter by trade with Local #9 of Central New Jersey. He is survived by 5 children - Cheryl Costello and her husband, Martin of Cheshire,CT, Scott Bertha of Union NJ, Debbie O'Connor and her husband, John of Clinton Twp. NJ, Gregg Bertha of Phillipsburg, NJ, Marc Bertha and his girlfriend, Tracey of Montclair, NJ. He has 7 grandchildren - Matthew, Kathleen, Thomas, Jack, Ryan, Kayla and Cole and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 16, 2015 at 10:30AM at Martin Funeral Home in Clinton, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Matheny Medical & Educational Center in Peapack, NJ.
