Obituary of Catherine E. Sutter

Catherine E. Sutter, age 69, of Yonkers, NY died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the home of her brother Paul in Annandale NJ. Catherine was born July 27, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Gene and the late Elizabeth (Rorke) Sutter. She went to St. Edmund Preparatory High School, and was employed with Blue Cross of New York for over 30 years. Catherine retired from the United States Post Office in White Plains, NY. Catherine loved the NY Mets, watching sports on TV. She also loved going to her nieces and nephews baseball games and sporting events, and always loved helping others. She is survived by her siblings, David (Skip), Paul and his wife Lynda, Elizabeth (Liz) Balchus Sutter and her husband Bill, and sister- in- law Leslie Sutter. Her brothers Peter and Michael predeceased her. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Keith, Stephen, Krista, Danielle, Michael, Anthony, Paul, Eric, Jennifer, Dawn and Jason and her great nieces and nephews, Natalie, Ava Elizabeth, Ronan, Declan, Alexa, Jake, Ryan, Jack, Mitchell, Kieran, Vivian, Kevin, Garrett, Keisha, Victoria, Larry, Danielle, Nicholas, Mason, Julia, Sofia, Taylor, Ava Rose, and Michael, each and every single one was so very important to her. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 9 at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, July 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. 08809.
