Obituary of Marguerite Teresa DeStefano

Marguerite Teresa DeStefano, age 76, of Clinton NJ, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on September 10, 2016. Marguerite was born September 15, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Cosimo and the late Louise (Immediato) Calzolaio. Marguerite resided in Bridgewater NJ, for over Thirty years before moving to Clinton Eleven years ago. She was a homemaker and her family was her world. Marguerite was also a longtime volunteer at the Gerry Davis ARC in Manville, NJ, where she assisted severely handicapped children for over Ten years. She received the STAR award for volunteering more than once. Recently she had volunteered at the Hunterdon Valley YMCA for Twelve years where she offered office support and worked on many projects. Marguerite was also a member who loved to exercise. All who knew her loved her and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of Fifty-Five years: Eugene DeStefano , one daughter: Teresa Raziano and her husband John of Branchburg, NJ. Two sons: Eugene C. DeStefano and his wife Marjie of Martinsville, NJ and Paul DeStefano and his wife Marianne of Bridgewater, NJ. Sister of: Rosemarie Dazzo and her husband Joseph; also she is survived by her loving and adored grandchildren; Valerie, John, Marissa, Catherine, Paul and Olivia. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday September 12, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00pm, at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 10:00am at the Immaculate Conception Church , 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mount Airy Rd, Basking Ridge NJ.
