Obituary of William T. Pote Jr.

William T. Pote Jr., (84) of Lebanon Twp., founder and CEO of Flexco Microwave, Inc. in Port Murray and Andrex, Inc. in Hackettstown, went to his eternal rest Monday, September 25, 2017.  

 

Bill grew up in Peapack and was a proud graduate of Bernardsville High School where he participated in football and track. He then attended Gill St. Bernards and Westminster College for further studies, before completing his engineering degree at Fairleigh Dickinson in Teaneck.  Bill also proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War.   He began his career at Cooperative Industries before founding his own companies in 1970.  He holds several patents for his coaxial cable assemblies and their processes.   A devout parishioner ofThe Church of St. Ann, Bill also gave his time and treasure to many charitable organizations over his lifetime.   

 

Bill is predeceased by his loving son Andrew, his brother Thomas, and his sister Marian.  

He is survived by two devoted daughters:  Kathleen and husband Robert Medina, and Colene Thomas; a loving son William; and five adoring grandchildren: Jeremy, Courtney, Juliana, Alexa, and Jovan; younger brother Richard; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, September 28th, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809.  A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, September 29th at 10:00 am at The Church of St. Ann Church, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ. Interment will follow mass at the family plot in Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge NJ.
