I was very fortunate to become friends with Ethel & then met her fab husband. Ron was always so warm & friendly & throughout the years he shared his wife, children, table, recipes, wine, time, laughter and heart with me. The Thaus are friends who became family and I am so blessed to have known such an amazing soul! Ethel, Amy, and Laurie surround yourself with all the people who love you and may your many memories comfort you.

Never lived a better friend than Ron. Generous of spirit, helpful, humble, smart, fun, with a great heart.
A heart he followed when he met Ethel and married her.
A heart that filled their home with the love he had for Ethel, Amy and Laurie.
A heart that welcomed family and friends often and fully.
A heart that knew how God had blessed him.
An open and caring heart, with which Ron showed us how to live life fully.
His friendship was the greatest gift we could have wanted, and we are blessed to have known and loved him.

We want to offer our sincere condolences on the loss of Ron.
We can only imagine how difficult it has been for you and the
girls.Â
Ron was a very special person. Though Ron was quiet and never
sought to bring attention to himself everyone loved him. We
always looked forward to getting together. The memories we
have, wine tasting, barbequing, cooking, dinners and vacations
will never be forgotten, they were the best of times.Â
I remember on several occasions he pulled me off to side to give
me some cooking tips not to embarrass me in front of our
group. Ron was a real gentleman.
Though we haven't gotten to spend as much time together in
recent years as we would have liked, we considered Ron among
our dearest and most treasured friends. Ron was family and he
made us feel like family.
Ron was a wise, kind, God fearing, caring man who loved life
and his family he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
I hope that in some small way these words will bring comfort to
you and the girls at this sad time.Â
May God's blessings and peace be with you and the girls.
