As a friend for over 53 years, Ange impressed as a complex individual who was generous, insightful, a life long learner, dreamer, devoted husband and father. Bringing hours of joy were red Corvettes, fine dining, sports (oh those Yankees!), a good book, art, music - especially dramatic operas and the sound track of his youth. Knowledgeable and proud of his Italian heritage, he honored his parents, sister and brother with love and loyalty. Of meaning were family, those with mental and physical challenges, as well as the welfare of veteran service members. Rest in peace, Ange.

What a long, full life he lived. I owe much of my professional and personal growth to Ange, having had the honor of working for him at County Human Services for almost 15 years; he was a true mentor. It was sad to see him retire from the County, but he was always available and willing to answer my questions and offer guidance even after he retired. Where others may have found him to be a difficult task-master, he and I had a great working rapport and shared many laughs – he had a great sense of humor. I think of him often as we continue the good work in the human services department – he will be missed.
