Sharing my memories of Doug who worked in my office at EO City Hall as a public relations intern when he was a senior at East Orange High.
He loved his alma mater.
My condolences and prayers to his wife, Liz and the entire Jones family. His siblings, his children and grandchild are in the prayers of my family. May he rest easy.
A gifted artist; Doug designed many of the City's publications during the time he worked in the Public Information Office.
He developed his photography skills and took many official photographs for Mayor Cooke and City Council.
Douglas' mother Carol Brown Boone was one of my best friends and Doug, her first born ❤️ was her superstar. She was so proud of him. He also had a wonderful relationship with his stepfather, Floyd Boone. Douglas was an bright light in my life both professionally and on a personal level. I will miss him so much.
