Obituary of Daniel E. Jervis

Daniel E. Jervis, age 36, of Budd Lake, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Born on February 17, 1989, he was the beloved son of Ronald M. and Constance B. (née Malick) Jervis and a cherished brother to Ronald M.

Dan grew up in Budd Lake, graduating from Mt. Olive High School before spending time in Washington Borough and ultimately making his home in Clinton, New Jersey. His deep passion for music and the outdoors shaped his journey, leading him to many unique life experiences and travels. A gifted guitarist and pianist, Dan performed in several bands and shared his love of music by teaching children. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for hiking and reading, and his compassionate heart shone through his dedicated work in leading recovery programs for those facing mental illness and addiction.

Most recently, Dan was employed as a Manager at Taco Bell in Washington Borough. He will be deeply missed by a loving extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins across the country.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Daniel’s family on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Rt. 31, Clinton, NJ 08809, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a service of remembrance beginning at 1:30 PM during the visitation.
