Our heartfelt condolences to Steve’s family and friends. Already, he is missed by many people, but he is no longer in pain or discomfort.
Steve mentioned several times over the last year or so how much he appreciated what Pat has done for him. He was also concerned for the health of his older brother, Mike, and sister-in-law, Sandy.
We were friends for slightly over 77 years. The day he got his driver’s license; he came to our house to take me for a ride. I remember sliding sideways on the seat because he had a short-term habit of make “square turns”, i.e. no seat belts back then.
Kay and I heard about some of his challenges, and fun, related to his pierogi production. This contribution to his church was taken very seriously.
Kay and I apologize for not attending is final good-bye. Health issues preclude travel.
