Obituary of Dennis Becker

March 27, 1940 – July 22, 2025

Dennis Becker, 85, of Annandale, NJ, passed away-peacefully on July 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Passaic, NJ, Dennis spent most of his life in Clifton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany from 1958 to 1960. Following his military service, he worked as a draftsman for Marotta Valve Company and later for Vanguard Controls in New Jersey, where he remained until his retirement in 2016.

Dennis was the beloved husband of the late Connie Becker, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage and many cherished memories. He was a devoted father to his son Denis and daughter Carla and her husband Brad, and a proud grandfather to Alex and Leah. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

He is predeceased by his parents, Josef and Helen Becker, both originally from Austria; his brothers Alan and Gary; and his nephew Jeffrey. He is survived by his brothers Anthony (Arlene) and Bruce (Linda); his sisters-in-law Jean, Loretta and Bernice; and many loving nieces, nephews,and extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebratedon Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ 08867. Interment with military honors will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 ProvinceLine Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Dennis will be remembered for his quiet strength, enduring loyalty, and deep love for his family. His presence will be greatly missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those whoknew and loved him.
