Obituary of Lynn Ann Monturo-Brussack
Lynn Ann Monturo-Brussack, 68, of Annandale, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on September 2, 1956, in Jersey City, NJ, Lynn was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Bernadette Monturo. She graduated from Hackensack High School in 1974, then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree with honors in 1978 and her master’s degree in 1980 from Fairleigh Dickinson University. During her studies, she completed a fellowship and also taught, setting the tone for a lifetime of dedication and achievement. Lynn went on to a long and respected career as a manager at Johnson & Johnson, where her leadership and professionalism were greatly valued until her retirement in 2016.
On October 4, 1986, Lynn married the love of her life, Arthur Brussack, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lodi, NJ. Together, they built a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter, sharing 38 beautiful years of marriage and the companionship of their beloved cat, Maggie.
Lynn’s life was rich with creativity and generosity. In her youth, she loved traveling with her family, making cherished memories that inspired her lifelong love for connection and tradition. A talented craftswoman, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and creating exquisite handmade cards for those she loved. Holidays were a special joy for Lynn, and she was well known for her famous and delicious gingerbread recipe, a treat treasured by friends and family alike.
Lynn is survived by her devoted husband, Arthur Brussack; her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Tory Mucaro; and her nieces and nephews: Nicole and Ryan Hall, and their children, Conrad and Calvin Hall; Dante Mucaro and Maren Morsch; and Giuliana and Travis Trent. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Louis and Bernadette Monturo.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 316 Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801. Arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home, Clinton, NJ.
