I am so grateful and honored to have had Tom in my life and will always cherish the many memories and would like to share one with everyone. I met Tom at AT&T, we worked in the same Submarine Cable District, I was a Senior Clerk, and he was a Senior Engineer. A call came in from HQ Plaza Hotel regarding hotel accommodations for KDD delegates. Normally, I always advised who was calling before transferring the call, but this particular moment I was overwhelmed with calls, so I just transferred the call, and he only saw my name pop-up on the screen. The next thing, he was standing at my desk, with an extremely red hot face. I asked him what was wrong and he said, he thought it was me and answered the call “What do you want A??hole? (We always joked around) Not knowing it was the Hotel Manger. I quickly responded and told him "Why didn't you just say you just got back from Japan and you were saying olso". This was a classic moment. I will always miss our talks and texts, but he will always remain in my heart. I could go on and on how a wonderful, loving, caring, etc. of a human being he was.
