Obituary of Patricia M. Pickeral

Patricia May Pickeral, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully at home on Sunday December 21st, at the age of 86 after a long illness.

 

She was born on 1/1/1939 in Bridgewater, NJ to Robert and Emma Grube-Haines. Before retirement, she was a Registered Nurse at various local hospitals and also did quite a bit of private duty nursing. She loved caring for others in need. Patricia also loved to crochet, garden and attend church services. A lifelong Methodist, she often sang in the choir.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Ruble-Weber and her husband Stephen of Easton, PA with whom she lived,  sons Barry and his wife Yolanda and Kenneth Cowell of Glen Gardner, NJ along with her grandchildren Stephen Weber and his wife, Meghan, of Easton, PA, Nicole Honey and her wife Melanie, of Bangor, PA, Amy Weber of Easton, PA and Matthew Cowell of Philadelphia, PA as well as 2 great grandsons, Stephen the 3rd and Carter Weber, both of Easton and her brother David and his wife Lois of Bath, PA.                                                                                   

 

Patricia was predeceased by her son Steven Cowell, her brother Ronald Haines and her sister Roberta as well as her previous husbands Charles J Ruble and Robert Pickeral.        

 

Visitation for family and friends will be at Martin Funeral Home, located at 1761 Rt.31, Clinton, NJ 08809 on Sunday January 4th from 2:00 until 5:00pm and Monday from 10:00 until 11:00AM with a funeral service staring at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Spruce Run Cemetery, West Hill Road, Glen Gardner, NJ 08826. There will be an informal luncheon at the Cracker Barrel in Clinton, NJ following the services.

Patricia lived her life close with God and humbly serving others. Her door was always open to people in need, especially friends of her children who needed a little help to get their lives back on track, always ready to help and never looking down on others.  She will be deeply missed.
