Obituary of Kathleen M. Wolsko

Kathleen Wolsko née Yura, of Hopatcong NJ, passed away on December 31, 2025. She was 78.

Born on March 8, 1947, Kathie grew up in Hazleton PA, where she graduated high school and became a nurse. After marrying and having her two sons, she stayed home to raise them, eventually going back to work as an elementary school aide and then as a secretary for the scouting movement before retiring.

Kathie’s greatest gift to the world was how she cared for others, especially her family, for her entire life. Nothing was more important to her, and nothing made her more proud than to talk about their accomplishments.

She is survived and missed by her husband Paul, of Hopatcong, children Tim (Colette) of Venice, FL, and Darrin (Aimee), of Clinton NJ, as well as her siblings, nieces and nephews, and dear friends who became her family.

She is also survived and deeply missed by the four most important people in her life, her grandchildren: Molly, Patrick, Henry, and James, who knew her as their beloved Grammy.

Kathie's kindness and love live on in all who knew her. In her memory, please continue to share the same with the people you hold dear.
