Terri, Scott and Ken, Trudy and I are so very sorry. Bob was a very good friend and will be missed. I have so many great memories of the Crossing, 18th Century Artisan Show, History Meets the Arts and the Art Show we had in Nazareth. Bob was so generous with his time helping me with his knowledge making 18th century accouterments or just talking art. It wasn’t uncommon for me to drive over to Jersey after work and visit Bob in his studio to see how his new painting was coming along or just talk US naval aircraft of WWII. Trudy enjoyed hearing Bob’s stories while we were driving to HMTA in Gettysburg. Cherished memories.

Terri, Kenny and Scott…we are deeply saddened at the loss of such a good, kind and talented man. As longtime friends, work colleagues and neighbors, our hearts ache for your family. I remember Bob from many years ago when our sons were Cub Scouts at Yards Creek. My twin boys and I were the only ones from the Lebanon Township pack that we went so they put us in the same campsite with him and his group from Bethlehem Township. What a nice week it was! The late Don Groover was there, too. As Dads of young boys, we had a very nice time together that week. Even though I never saw him again from that week in 1992+/-, I never forgot Bob and Don or their faces all these years. I’m saddened to see he had to leave us so soon. Yards Creek is closed now, but, I have been meaning to go up and visit the site sometime, and, when I do, I will salute Bon and Don. Sincerely, Christopher V. Sakos
