Clark Whitworth

Obituary of Clark E. Whitworth

Clark E. Whitworth, age 55, of Glen Gardner, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 10, at his home. Born on March 23, 1970, in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Whitworth and the late Joan (née Krause) Whitworth.

Clark grew up in Holland, Pennsylvania, and was a graduate of Council Rock North High School, Class of 1988. He was an accomplished chef who found great joy in cooking for family and friends. Clark was known for his culinary creativity—especially his famous pulled pork—which he prepared with pride and shared generously with those he loved.

A die-hard University of Alabama fan, Clark cheered on the Crimson Tide with unmatched enthusiasm. He also enjoyed fishing, riding motocross, and could often be found outdoors. Clark had a soft heart for animals and was a true pet lover throughout his life.

Clark is survived by his sister, Pamela Worton, and her husband, Fred; his nieces Chandler, Michele, and Melissa; and his nephews Zachary and Manuel. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Joan, his brother Stephen Whitworth and Stephen’s wife, Edda, as well as his former wife, Carmella Barnes Whitworth.

Services for Clark will be held privately at this time under the care of Martin Funeral Home, Clinton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Clark’s name may be made to Common Sense for Animals at https://commonsenseforanimals.org/
