Obituary of Carolyn Pflanzer

Carolyn Pflanzer, age 77, of Long Hill Township, NJ died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at home. She was born March 15, 1936 in Staten Island, NY. She was the daughter of the late John and the late Helen (Pribyl) Scheid. Carol resided in the Gillette section of Long Hill Twp. for over 56 years and previous to that, she lived in the New Brighton Section of Staten Island, NY. In her earlier years she worked on Wall Street as an administrator for JP Morgan. In her later years she became Radiological Technologist. Carolyn enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking. She was an avid gardener and loved the ocean and the shore. She is survived by her devoted son, Carl Pflanzer and his wife, Patty of Annandale, NJ and her cherished grandson, Michael. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, February 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. The Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
