Michael served on the Hunterdon County Vocational School District Board of Education. In 2016 he was instrumental in reviving the Hunterdon County Vocational School District Education Foundation which was dormant for about 10 years. He personally funded the costs to re-create it because he felt that Technical Education was important and assisting the students with scholarships and financial aid was important. Because of him the HCVSDEF reformed and received some funding from the Jennie Haver Foundation.
Because of his efforts and foresight the Foundation has so far provided 39 scholarships, 14 financial aids, and 2 teacher grants to benefit student learning for a total of over $46,000.00. Through his generosity and efforts he has improved many lives. Thanks Michael.
