Obituary of Christopher Theodor Pittman

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we must announce the sudden passing of Christopher Theodor Pittman, 20, of Pittstown, New Jersey. Christopher was born March 30th, 2003 in Flemington, New Jersey. Christopher grew up in Pittstown section of Union Township and graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 2021. He went on to attend Rochester Institute of Technology and was pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Web Design.

Christopher had many passions in life, but few could compare to his love for rock climbing.  He always loved the challenges of the sport, and would spend hours working difficult boulder problems at the Gravity Vault in Flemington with his friends and brother or at the Red Barn up at RIT.  He was an avid programmer, teaching himself advanced web development and new languages, producing websites, apps, and stat trackers for himself and friends.  When it was time to relax, he enjoyed hopping on his favorite video game, Counter Strike, to socialize with his friends.  Cooking up impromptu, delicious (and often rice-based) dinners was another of his hobbies.  He adored his three cats and was an overall animal lover.

Christopher will forever be missed by his beloved parents Michaela and Michael Pittman; his brother and best friend, Nicholas Pittman; his doting grandmothers Iva Panos and Sylvia Boccassini;  loving aunt and uncle Monica and Alan Pittman; sweet cousin Nicole Knowles-Baffone and numerous other relatives and friends.

Christopher is predeceased by his grandfathers Theodor John Panos and Alphonso Homer Pittman.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, April 8th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with words of remembrance starting at 1:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. Cremation will be held privately. To share memories with Chris's family please visit www.martinfh.com
