Obituary of Paul Edward Rafalko

Paul Edward Rafalko, age 79, of Annandale, NJ, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in Morristown, NJ.  Born on January 30, 1944, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Alexander Rafalko and the late Sophie Rafalko (nee Krusiewsky).

 

Paul served in the US Army as a Specialist 5.  He spent his career working as a Systems Analyst/Consultant.  Paul married the love of his life, Rosemarie (nee Fiamma), on July 25, 1965.  Together they raised their three daughters, Suzanne, Marie, and Andria, in Sussex County, NJ, where they resided until moving to Hunterdon County, NJ in 2020.

 

Paul was a true family man.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren and his great-granddaughter, whom he took great joy in. In Paul's free time, he could often be found fishing, his favorite hobby.

 

Paul will be forever missed by his loving wife, Rosemarie Rafalko (nee Fiamma); daughters, Suzanne Rafalko and her partner Donald Pierson, Marie Furka (nee Rafalko) and her husband Joseph Furka, Andria Rafalko and her fiancĂ© Rafael Rodriguez; grandchildren, Matthew Furka and his wife Grace Furka (nee Lazarus), Victoria Viator (nee Furka) and her husband Nicholas Viator, Sarah Furka, Annalise Furka, Alexandra Rafalko, Joseph T. Furka; and great-granddaughter Gianna Furka.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, located at 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ 08829.  Following Mass, a light lunch and refreshments will be served in the church hall. All are welcome to attend Mass and/or visit the family in the church hall. Arrangements are under the care of Martin Funeral Home of Clinton, NJ.
