Obituary of Louis J. Pennucci, Jr.

Louis J. Pennucci, Jr., age 64, of Clinton,NJ died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick,NJ after a courageous 14 year fight with lung cancer. Mr. Pennucci was born May 6, 1948 in Morristown,NJ. He was the son of the late Louis J. and the late Mary (Marcelliano) Pennucci. He spent his childhood in Summit,NJ and he resided in Clinton,NJ for the past 30 years. Lou was a Sales Representative for Xerox in Mountainside, NJ and he also worked for Trukmanns Repro-Graphics in Morristown,NJ. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Lou was an avid golfer and enjoyed sailing but most importantly he treasured time with his family & close friends. He graduated Seton Hall University in 1976 with a BA in Marketing. He was a member of the Clinton Public School Board of Education from 1992 to 1996 and was a member of the North Hunterdon Voorhees Regional Board of Education from 1996 to the present. He was also a member of the Hunterdon County Education Services Commission Board of Education. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Barbara (Sigmund) Pennucci , his daughter, Megan Schilling of Ringoes,NJ, his son, Chris Pennucci of Maineand his cherished granddaughter, Madison. Lou's Life Celebration includes visitation on Friday, August 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a funeral mass held at 9:15 am on Saturday, August 4th at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ #908-277-3700. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Saturday morning. The interment will immediately follow at St. Teresa's Cemetery,1 Passaic Avenue,Summit,NJ.
