I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". For decades Mike was a valuable and highly respected member of the Sauter family both in Germany and the USA. The effects of his loss are being felt already by those of us who had the honor and pleasure of working with him and being his friend.

So saddened by Mike's passing. I worked with and for him for 27 years, and knew him as a genuinely good guy, always generous and supportive among other things. Along with his "English sense of humor" we teased him about, and the way he would laugh at his own stories before he could get them out to tell, he will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Mike.
I was Mike's CPA for many years, but I thought of him more as a friend than a client.
A wonderful gentleman, a classy great guy.
I am deeply sad on his passing.
