To My Beloved Brother Chet,
Despite the 18 plus years difference in age between us I always felt we were on the same sheet of music. You were a second father to me, my protector, and mentor. Mom told me when I was crying as an infant you would get out of bed and hold me in your arms to comfort me. This typifies the man you became.
Kind, considerate, humble, generous, humorous, family oriented, religious, and just an all around great guy to be around. We shared many musical experiences together but the thing I admired the most about you is you always tried to do the right thing in life. No matter the situation you took the high road and never looked back.
God bless you Chet you will be sorely missed.
Love,
Ed

During this difficult time, I hope you always hold onto the warm and wonderful memories you shared together, and that they continue to bring you and the entire family comfort and peace. May the words of 1 Peter 5:7 “ while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

We lost a true dear friend. Our long talks about everything and anything but mostly about life will forever be warmly remembered. We were blessed to have his friendship, our children their “Uncle Chet”. He was kind, respectable, faithful, caring, humble, and a gentleman. They just don’t make em like that anymore.
Nostrovia Chet! Until we meet again.
Love,
The O’Connors

Without a doubt one of the most caring, joyful and compassionate men we have met. An afternoon with Chet whether at work or play was a time to be cherished. His musical talent, happy smile, and boisterous laugh are well remembered!
Dear Chet: "Let the beat go on...."

Chet was a great guy and a person I looked forward to seeing every Saturday eve at church in his jacket aside his wife Joanne. He will be missed personally and by many others for his love of community and his love of life. He will have an everlasting impression on me.

Chester’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
