Obituary of Alice Frances Minchella

Alice Frances Minchella, 83, of Bethlehem Township, New Jersey entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2014. Alice was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 25, 1930, the daughter of Frank A. and Laura S. Trepani of Brooklyn, New York and of Bethlehem Township New Jersey. Alice was a graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer Elementary School and Catherine Mc Cauley High School in Brooklyn and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Elizabeth's College, Convent Station, New Jersey. Alice was married to her loving husband Francis for 62 years. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Laura Anne who died on September 28, 2012. Surviving Alice are her husband and eight children, Frank, Stephen, Paul, Mary, Thomas, Kenneth, Peter, and Anthony. Alice was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Alice was very active in local theater in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, starring in such plays as Fiddler on The Roof, Miss. Reardon Drinks a Little, Once Upon a Mattress, The Lion in Winter, Man For All Seasons, Equus, California Suite, Arsenic and Old Lace, and as an extra in the movie about the late Rocky Marciano entitled" I'll get by". Alice and Francis enjoyed vacations at Long Beach Island, NJ, St. Simons Island, Georgia, the theater in New York City and touring Europe frequently. Alice was a communicant of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Hampton, New Jersey. Visitation will be on January 15, 2014, from 4:00-8:00pm at the Martin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, January 16th at St. Ann's Church in Hampton, NJ. Internment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery, Hampton New Jersey.
