Obituary of Jonathan C Tyndall

Jonathan Craig Tyndall, 57, of Hampton, NJ, passed away on June 22nd . Jon was born in Plainfield, NJ to Russel P. Tyndall and June E. (Packer) Tyndall on September 22nd, 1961. He went to school in Cranford, NJ. Jon married Polly Pennington Tyndall on April 22nd, 1996 in Elkton, MD. He graduated from Union County College with Associate's degrees in Biology and Electronics Technology. He worked at Constant O. Maffey Companies from 1977 – 1985, as a Manufacturing Manager for Advanced Controls and at ANADIGICS (II-VI) from 1992 – 2019. Jon was a loving husband, son, brother and friend, who had many interests including World War II history, military vehicles, motorcycling, trains, cooking, playing guitar, vintage audio, fishing, blacksmithing, welding, and ham radio. Jon is pre-deceased by his Father Russel P. Tyndall, Mother June E. (Packer) Tyndall, Brother Russel Tyndall, Father-in-Law Wallace E. Pennington, Brother-in-Law Nicholas Mingione, and Nephew Samuel Pennington. Jon is survived by his loving Wife Polly (Pennington) Tyndall, Sister Marjorie Mingione, Niece Elizabeth Eisner, Husband John Eisner, their children Emma and Nicolas. Sister-in-Law Nancy Garafola, her children Matt Tyndall and his son Zacharyah, Samantha Schmidt and her Husband Hunter Schmidt and Son Barrett, and Joshua Tyndall. Mother-in-Law Lucy L. Pennington, Brother-in-Law Rodney Pennington and Wife Janice Pennington, their children Katie Hallberg, Husband Dan Hallberg, and their two children Henry and Lucy, and Andie Pennington. Brother-in-Law Richard Pennington, Wife Patrice Pennington, and their sons John and Michael. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 PM on Thursday, June 27th at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 State Route 31, Clinton, New Jersey 08809 The Holy Eucharist celebrating Jonathan's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 28th at Spruce Run Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church, 442 West Hill Road, Glen Gardner NJ, with Pastor Gary V. Ettlemyer officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
