Obituary of Sheryl B. Roberts

Sheryl B. Roberts, age 63, of Clinton NJ passed suddenly on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at home in Clinton. Sheri was born June 6, 1956 in Somerville, NJ. She is the daughter of the late William Albert and the late Helen Kapuscinski Roberts.

A graduate of Bridgewater East High School class of 1974, Sheri attended the Katherine Gibbs School before starting a long career with Chubb Insurance, working her way up to Assistant Vice President of Chubb Personal Risk Services.

Sheri was an active volunteer in her beloved Clinton community and also very active with Puppies Behind Bars at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. She loved spending time at home with her dogs, reading books by her pool, baking delicious treats and entertaining to her numerous friends.

She is survived by her sister: Robyn Heroux of Somerset, NJ and brother: William Roberts Jr. and his wife Sue of Clinton, NJ; Nephews, William Roberts III and wife Cassandra of Louisville, KY; Christopher Heroux of Somerset, NJ; Jeffrey Roberts of Denver and niece Ashley Roberts of Somerset; Great Nephew Liam; godson Brian Nelson and her beloved dog Harper. Sheri will also be missed by her many friends throughout the community.

Relatives and friends may gather on Thursday August 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Friday, August 30 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Cremation will be held privately and an inurnment will follow at Bound Brook cemetery.
