Obituary of Harriet R. Roever

"Happy" (Harriet) R. Roever, age 82, of Clinton Twp., NJ died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Twp., NJ surrounded by her loving friends and family. Ms. Roever was born January 1, 1932 in Somerville, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Lane) Rugen of Bound Brook, NJ. Moving to Hunterdon County in 1960 to raise a family, Happy also owned Super Travel in High Bridge and later in Clinton during the 1980s. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, spending time at the seashore, a good laugh and most of all chocolate and those who shared it with her. Survivors include her daughters; Linda Stockton and husband Keith, of Broadway, NJ, Ann Marie Fivecoat and husband Andrew, of St. Petersburg, FL, a brother, Daniel Rugen and wife Maf, of Vero Beach, FL and sister in law Theo Rugen of Cherry Hill, NJ. Harriet was predeceased by her brother, Howard (Tony) of Cherry Hill, NJ. There will be a memorial gathering offered on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. There will be a Memorial Service held at 7:30pm Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.
