Obituary of Kimberly Ann Saunders- Merola

Kimberly Ann Saunders-Merola, age 50, of Branchburg, NJ died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset. Kimberly was born July 20, 1964 in Lowell, MA. She was the daughter of Terry (Mager) Saunders of Sarasota, Florida and the late Alan J. Saunders. She was employed by Jones, Lang and LaSalle as a Lease Administrator for the past eight years. Kim is survived by her daughter and son: Alyssa Rae Merola of Ojai, CA and Nikolas Joseph Merola of Ojai, CA. She is the wife of Michael C. Johnson of Branchburg NJ. Also surviving are her three sisters: Kelly Butcher of Johns Creek, GA, Susan Haberl of Stewartsville, NJ and Jennifer Fitzgerald of Eugene, OR and one brother, John A Saunders of Ellijay, GA. Kim is also survived by her former husband, Nunzio Merola of Sunrise, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kim was a caring mother, daughter, wife, sister, cousin, and friend. Her beautiful smile, kind heart and indpendent spirit will be forever missed. A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place Wednesday, September 24th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a noon memorial service at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ Memorial donations may be made in Kim's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105.
