Obituary of Olympia R. Manno

Olympia R. Manno, age 83, of Pittstown (Franklin Twp.), died Thursday, August 17, 2006 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. Mrs. Manno was born on December 24, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Grace (Troy) Firneno. Mrs. Manno was an Asssiant Manager for United National Bank in Bridgewater for over 10 years before she retired. Previously from Bridgewater, she has been living in Pittstown. Olympia, who was also known as Peg, was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Pittstown, where she was a member of the churchs Rosary Society. She was a great cook, making many Holiday meals enjoyed by her family. She also enjoyed sewing and dancing. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Joseph T. Manno; her Loving daughter: Kathryn Manno of Pittstown, her dear Sister: Genevieve Cerza of Conn. She is pre-deceased her sister: Mabel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 21st at 10:30 am at St. Catherine Of Siena Catholic Church in Pittstown. Burial will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ.
