Obituary of Victoria Ann Kuharik
Victoria Ann Kuharik, age 88, of Annandale NJ died Friday, November 9, 2012 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Mrs. Kuharik was born December 5, 1923 in Danbury, CT. She was the daughter of the late Attalla and Najda (Simon) Coury.
She resided inHampton, NJ for many years but also lived in Phillipsburg, NJ. Victoria was proud to work in the War efforts as a Rosie Riveter, building the fighter planes featured in the TV Show Black Sheep Squadron. After raising her family she returned to the work force, eventually retiring from The Hunterdon Developmental Center. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her cherished family.
She is survived by her son John R. Kuharik III & his wife, Pam Green of Easton, Pa.daughter, Bridgett Thompson & her husband, Allen of Lebanon, NJ, and her grandchildren, John IV, Connor, Kane, Gisele & Camille. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, John R. in 1973 and her siblings; Eva, Edith, Helen and Edgar.
Victoria's Life Celebration will include a funeral mass on Wednesday, November 14th at 2:00 pm at St. Ann's RC Church, 30 Main Street (6 Church St.),Hampton,NJ. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Wednesday afternoon. The interment will immediately follow atSt. Ann's Cemetery on the church grounds.
