Obituary of Teresa M. Panny

Teresa M. Panny, age 73, of Franklin Township, NJ died Sunday, July 31st at I.H.S. At Somerset Valley in Bound Brook, NJ. Ms. Panny was born June 22, 1932 in Franklin Twp., NJ the daughter of the late John and the late Theresia (Kollarish) Panny. She was a Registered Nurse and Medical Surgical Supervisor employed by Bellevue Hospital in NYC, NY. Ms. Panny also served as the Director of Nursing for several years in long term care facilities. She also served as Mayor of Franklin Township in 1999. In 1951, she graduated from Flemington High School and in 1954 she received her RN form Bellevue Hospitals School of Nursing. Teresa resided in Pittstown, NJ for most of her life until moving to Forks Township, Pa. for the past 3 years. She was an avid gardener and a gourmet cook. She is survived by her Friends, Irene & Alex Pasternak of Annandale, NJ and her Brother, Joseph Panny of Lutz, Florida. The Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809. There will be a Catholic Blessing at 11:00 am also Saturday, August 6th at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery Quakertown, Franklin Township, NJ.
