I worked with Janet (& Laura) at Camp Nejeda in the early 80's and I recall her laugh and big smile, she and Q.V. (Vicky Cushman)running around camp taking pictures of EVERYTHING since they were in charge of photography and the dark room. It seemed that the 2 of them were always up to some kind of mischief and that if it wasn't fun why bother? was their way of keeping all in a good mood. Practical jokes and pranks were a specialty of hers that she loved to inform all the rest of the staff about.
Now I sit here and remember all the fun that I had all those years ago with all the fun people that have left The Nejeda Family heart broken by their passing -Vic, Vicky, Duva and now Janet joins them and all I can feel is the pain of life taken so young and too sudden of people who only wanted to laugh and make others laugh along with them and I know that they are all happier and pain free but that we must mourn the fact that we will never again share that time with the "Fun ones, the good ones, the best ones" and for that I will be forever grateful and for their loss I will be forever sad.
