Obituary of Search S. Dalrymple, Jr.

Search S. Dalrymple, Jr. age 65, of Clinton Twp., NJ died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Dalrymple was born October 30, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was the son of the late Search and Werna (Arnesen) Dalrymple. He was a longtime resident of Clinton Twp., NJ. Search was a Lawn Care Technician for Royal Turf of Bridgewater, NJ for many years. Throughout his life he also worked with horses, on dairy farms and in the construction field. He was a Member of the Sons of the American Legion in Whitehouse, NJ and the VFW in Glen Gardner, NJ. Search enjoyed golfing and deep sea fishing. He participated in local football pools and liked to play darts & shuffle board. He is survived by daughter, Cherilyn Hopkins of Belvidere, NJ, his son, Search S. Dalrymple III of Flemington, NJ, his mother Werna (Arnesen) Dalrymple and his cherished grandchildren; Jaden, Search, Henry and Miranda. Additional survivors include his sisters; Patricia Woodward, Norma Dalrymple, Cathryn Wilton, Linda Sherrerd, Lois Herman & Arlene Phillips and his brother, Tom Dalrymple. Search's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 29th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a memorial service held at 12:00 pm on Saturday also at the Funeral Home. For memorial donations please consider the American Legion of Whitehouse, NJ or the VFW of Glen Gardner, NJ.
