Obituary of Emigdio Yaguez

Emigdio Yaguez, age 81, of Hampton, NJ died Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township. Mr.Yaguez was born May 1, 1925 in Bejar, Spain. He was the son of the late Marcelino and the late Hortencia Crespo Luengo Yaguez. At the age of 11, he survived the Spanish Civil War, while losing his father and older brother. He immigrated to this country from Spain in August of 1957. Mr. Yaguez worked as a Steel Fabricator for a total of 48 years, 17 of those years for Stewart Metal in Annadale and 31 years for Custom Alloy in High Bridge. He was a member of South Ridge Community Church of Clinton, where he was a faithful member of the Christian Community who enjoyed Fellowship and ministry. He was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed working around the house and putting on great feasts for family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years: Honoria; His son: Marcelino and wife Sharon of Baltimore, MD ;His two granddaughters: Michelle Brown and husband Ray and Jennifer Yaguez of Baltimore, MD; His greatgranddaughter: Aubrey; His two brothers: Santos and wife Rosa of Phillipsburg, NJ;David and his wife Maria Carmen of Hampton, NJ; His sister Marcelina Villagra of Madrid, Spain; His brother-in-law: Florencio de la Calle of Glen Gardener, NJ; He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Minolita Serrano. Visitation will be on Thursday , November 9th from 10:00 am to 12:00pm at South Ridge Communtiy Church, in Clinton, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon the church following the visitation. Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton.
