Obituary of Rose Marie J. Wargo

Rose Marie J. Wargo, age 76, of Clinton Twp., NJ died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Wargo was born May 7, 1936 in New Brunswick. She was a resident of Clinton Twp., NJ for more than 50 years. She and her late husband Stephen owned and operated Wargo Motors in Clinton, NJ where Rose Marie served as a bookkeeper. Rose Marie was a volunteer election monitor and assisted with the voting process in Clinton Twp., NJ. She was an active and devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. She was also a member of several Hunterdon County Senior Citizen Organizations and enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and many friends. She is survived by her devoted son, Stephen M. Wargo, Jr. of Easton, Pa., her cherished grandchildren; Lena Wargo, Robert Wargo, Karen Wilder, Stephen Wargo III and Anthony Wargo and her dear great-grandchildren, Avery Van Hassel, Brandy Van Hassel and Eve La Vine. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Stephen M. Wargo in 1987, her son, Joseph S. Wargo in 1990 and her grandson, Joseph S. Wargo, Jr. in 2011. Rose Marie's Life Celebration will include Visitation on Sunday, January 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass on Monday, January 21st at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. The Interment will immediately follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (Old St. Mary's Cemetery) on Halstead Street in Clinton, NJ.
