Obituary of Charles Yukob

Charles Yukob, age 79, formerly of Middlesex, NJ passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township, NJ. He was born March 7, 1933 in Lynn, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Alec and the late Mary (Rowan) Yukob. Mr. Yukob lived in Green Brook and Middlesex, NJ before moving to Clinton 3 years ago. Before retiring, he was a Food Service Manager for Forest Lodge in Warren, NJ. Charles served in the US Army. He was a Volunteer Fireman in Green Brook and a member of the Elks Lodge in Middlesex, NJ . He enjoyed bowling, coin collecting and he was an old car enthusiast. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Bob Yukob and his wife, JoAnn of Toms River, NJ; Donna Gregory and her husband Robert of Lebanon, NJ, Suzanne Planer and her husband Anthony of Kingwood Twp., NJ, his grandchildren, Daniel Yukob, Matthew, Peter, Christopher and Emma Gregory, Dylan and Nicole Planer, his brother: Alex Yukob of Cape Coral , Florida. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Eleanor Barnes. Charles's Life Celebration includes visitation on Sunday, August 12th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass held on Monday, August 13 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Interment will be private.
