Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Keating

On Thursday, November 21, 2019 Mary Elizabeth Keating, age 84, of Clinton, NJ passed peacefully at Hackettstown Medical Center.  Mary was born to Joseph and the Catherine (McArdle) Fitzgerald on April 22, 1935 in Bronx, NY. 

Mary was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, where she was also a member of the Rosary Society.

She is survived by her loving children; Michael Keating of Lawrenceville ; Kathleen Summers of Bloomsbury NJ; Susan Gould and her husband Jeffrey of Medford Lakes NJ. Also surviving is her brother Lawrence Fitzgerald and her grandchildren Terrance James, Chelsea, Dennis, Owen and Fallon. Great-grandchildren Daniel, Naomi and Judah.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Cpt. Dennis Keating and her daughter, Joanne Hartmann.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Tuesday November 26, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 27 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clinton NJ.
