Obituary of Juanita F Smickle

Juanita (Frey) Smickle, 88, of Flemington NJ, passed on Friday, January 31, 2020. Born October 25, 1931 in Buttzville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Chester Frey and Mary (Albright) Frey. Her beloved husband Walter R. Smickle Sr. and sons Walter R. Smickle Jr and Kurt R. Smickle predeceased her. Juanita attended Belvidere High School and took several college courses. Juanita worked for Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ in the Patient Accounts department for more than 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time on Long Beach Island. She was a devoted mother and grandmother always willing to sacrifice for her family. She is survived by her son Robert Smickle of Ocean Township, NJ; daughter Marta Smickle and Trish Dorner and their daughters Ally, Sam and Jessie of Dingmans Ferry PA,; and daughter Stephanie and husband Kenneth Buggey of Fairbanks AK and their chldren Allyson of Fairbanks and Kendra of Anchorage Ak and great-grandson Asonte Harris Jr. of Anchorage. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family on Friday February 7, 2020 from11:00am until the start of the service at 12:30 pm at the Martin Funeral Home 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. Interment will follow in the family plot at Buttzville Cemetery.
