Obituary of Maureen L Mangione

Maureen L. (DeSarno) Mangione, 47, of Glen Gardner, NJ, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2020. Born October 14, 1972 in Maryland. She is the daughter of Robert Waters and Regina (Reilly) DeSarno.

Maureen grew up in Key West, Florida until the age of 12, when her family relocated to N.J.  She graduated from JP Stevens High School in Edison, NJ in 1991.  Maureen had a love of ballet.  She continued to study her passion at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City.

Maureen was self-employed and the loving mother of 3 children.  She was an avid volunteer to her children’s schools.  She served as PTA President of Woodglen Middle School and Valley View Elementary School. Maureen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially trips with them to New York City.

She is survived by her husband Dominick Mangione; sons Dominick and Anthony; daughter Carmela; sister Kelly Bradley.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Martin Funeral Home,1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday February 8^th at St. Luke Parish, 265 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853.
