Obituary of Dame Sandra Kale D.H.S

Dame Sandra Kale D.H.S, age 62, of Easton, PA. previously of Lebanon Township and Cranford NJ, passed in grace on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem, PA surrounded in love by her husband Bob and dear friend Rev.Fr. Michael C. Saharic KCHS.  Sandra was born February 27, 1957 in Lancaster, PA.. She is the daughter of the late Samuel and Lou Sindy (Rich) Warfel.  She married the love of her life  Bob Kale on July 28, 1979. 

 

She received her MBA from Seton Hall University and her BS from the University of Delaware in Business where she was the “Blue Hen” mascot. Sandra also attended the University of Nairobi for African Studies. She was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society.

 

Sandra was very active in the Catholic Church, most recently at St. Ann’s Church of Hampton NJ as Director of School of Religion for the past ten years, adult education, youth ministry leader, Eucharistic minister, lector, member of the Altar Rosary Society. Prior to St. Ann’s Sandra was Co-Director of the Pre-Cana Program, VP of the Board of Directors at Raphael’s Life House. Sandy worked at AT&T as Director of Finance/Telecom in NJ, Boston, and NYC and later worked at Global Crossing Division as Senior Director of New Business Development.

 

A member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Dame Sandra co-authored the book, The History of the Church of St’ Ann’s admitted to the Library of Congress.

 

Sandy was an avid golfer and belonged to Oak Hill GC in Milford NJ and River Landing CC in Wallace NC. A love to travel took Sandy to her favorite places for vacation in Puertos Vallarta Mexico.

 

She is survived by her loving husband of forty years Bob Kale K.H.S; her mother Lou Sindy Warfel of Lititz, PA; sister Elois Warfel and her partner Terri Royer of Lancaster PA; brother-in-law Rich Kale and his wife Julie of Punta Gorda FL: cousins Andi and Dave Nelson of Westin FL and Ed and Joanne Connell of Highland Lakes NJ.

 

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Friday February 21, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton NJ 08809. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Fr. Michael C. Saharic KCHS at the Church of St. Ann, 6 Church Street Hampton NJ on Saturday February 22, at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
