I'll never forget the time that Uncle Paul and I went to Mountain Lake for a fishing tournament. When we got there it was still dark out. We put all our gear and lunch in the boat and Uncle Paul backed the boat into the water. We launched the boat and tied it off. I got in the truck with Uncle Paul to park the truck and drink our coffee while wating for the tournament to begin. Pretty soon Uncle Paul jumps out of the truck, said oh no and started to run. I asked him what was wrong and he said he forgot to put the plug in the boat. Needless to say fishing poles, tackle boxes and lunch were floating tin the boat. We pulled the boat out, drained it, put the plug back in and launched it again. About an hour after we got on the water, Uncle Paul wanted a sandwich the Lori made for us. When I opened the igloo, it was full of water and the sandwiched were water logged. I held one up and as the water ran out of it,I asked him if he wanted mustard or mayo on his sandwich. After he stopped laughing, he said he wasn't very hungry after all. Uncle Paul had a way of making every situation fun and memorable. I'll miss you Uncle Paul.
