I remember walking up the hill as a child and always seeing Paul there. I would greet him with a simple hello and a smile and in return a smile and a wave he would give me. A very nice and kind man is what I will always remember when I think of Paul Jones. For the family, I am deeply sorry for your huge loss. Rebecca Parichuk (McDowell)

I'll never forget the time that Uncle Paul and I went to Mountain Lake for a fishing tournament. When we got there it was still dark out. We put all our gear and lunch in the boat and Uncle Paul backed the boat into the water. We launched the boat and tied it off. I got in the truck with Uncle Paul to park the truck and drink our coffee while wating for the tournament to begin. Pretty soon Uncle Paul jumps out of the truck, said oh no and started to run. I asked him what was wrong and he said he forgot to put the plug in the boat. Needless to say fishing poles, tackle boxes and lunch were floating tin the boat. We pulled the boat out, drained it, put the plug back in and launched it again. About an hour after we got on the water, Uncle Paul wanted a sandwich the Lori made for us. When I opened the igloo, it was full of water and the sandwiched were water logged. I held one up and as the water ran out of it,I asked him if he wanted mustard or mayo on his sandwich. After he stopped laughing, he said he wasn't very hungry after all. Uncle Paul had a way of making every situation fun and memorable. I'll miss you Uncle Paul.

I may not have been as close to my uncle as I wanted to be, but I know he was a wonderful friend to many. A wonderful loving husband and father. I know he was a very special brother to my mom. You will always be in our hearts and missed greatly. I love you Uncle Paul

Pappy was my uncle. I remember going to the house when we were kids for picnics and swimming in the pool. And my brother Joe and I would go trick or treating with Paul and Sharon, up and down Dutch Hill. Also sharing breakfast with him and the family at the firehouse, hearing his stories and listening to him laugh. I will miss him very much and loved him with all my heart.
Love you Uncle Paul (Pappy)

My brother and my best friend.
He was always there for me when I was growing up. He worked hard to help take care of our Mom and his brothers and sisters. No matter what I could always count on him and he knew he could count on me. As we grew older and our busy lives with our own family we didn'spend alot of time together but we just knew we loved each other and was there for each other. I will miss him very much but know he is still watching over all of his. He is a good brother, husband, father, and friend to all.
