Obituary of Maria Guerriero

Maria Guerriero (nee Sasso), age 88, of Hampton, NJ died Monday, May 25, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Maria was born January 4, 1932 in Capriglia,Italy . She is the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Gaetana (Guerriero) Sasso. She was predeceased by her husband, Geremia Guerriero in 1993 and her brother Nunzio Sasso in 1999

She was employed by T and E Industries, Orange NJ as a Machine Operator. A devout catholic, Maria loved to cook for her family, especially her homemade pasta, loved to garden and spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by two daughters: Luisa Citarelli and husband Michael of Lebanon Township, NJ Antonietta Iannaco and husband Michael of Hampton, NJ,; two sons: Sabatino Guerriero and wife Patricia of Hillsborough, NJ and Antonio Guerriero of High Bridge, NJ,; three sisters: Jennifer Mirra and husband Joe of Bridgewater, NJ, Felicia DiIusto of Martinsville and Antonetta Gibilisco and husband Salvatore of Manalapan, NJ,; two brothers Gaetano Sasso and wife Concetta of Plainfield NJ and Aniello Sasso and wife Maria of Basking Ridge NJ; grandchildren, Michael, Carmine, Melissa, Michael Jr, Brittany, Nicholas and Samantha; great grandchildren, Aria, Victoria, Giuseppe, Lea and future great grand baby.

Services will be held privately and you can view her live streamed funeral mass on Monday June 1st at 10:30 am through St. Ann's of Hampton Facebook page. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Orange NJ
