Obituary of Angela Karkoska

Angela (nee Zajac) Karkoska, age 100, of Clinton Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home. Born on Februaury 29, 1920 in Poland, Angela was the daughter of the late Vincent Zajac and Maria (nee Bukowska) Zajac.

Angela was raised in Czechoslovakia in the town of Jurkova Vol'a, before emigrating to Australia. She moved her family to the United States in 1968 and reunited with many brothers and sisters. A talented seamstress, Angela had a passion for gardening and loved to tend to her rose bushes. She was a proud and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.

Angela is survived by her daughter, Miluska Buryta; son, John Karkoska and his wife Debra Coleman; grandchildren, Irene Kiner and her husband Scott, Richard Buryta, Jennifer Karkoska and her husband Merv Steinberg, and Michael Karkoska; great-grandchildren, Kevin Kiner and wife Warisa, Kyle Kiner and his wife Makenzie; great great-grandchildren, Ella Suzanne Kiner, and Colton Lloyd Kiner.

Angela was predeceased by her ten siblings.
