Obituary of Sylvia Johnson

Sylvia Johnson, age 83, of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania died Friday, August 7, 2020 at her daughters home in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. Sylvia was born April 5, 1937 in Morristown, New Jersey. She is a daughter of the late James Cullony and Doris Hudak. She later married Frederick R. Johnson and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage, before his death on July 22, 2016.

Raised in Dover, New Jersey, Sylvia resided in Lebanon Township for sixty years. She loved reading, playing video games and BINGO. Sylvia also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word finds. Her greatest pleasure was being surrounded by her family.

Sylvia is survived by four daughters; Janice E. Kerr and her husband Floyd, of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, Nancy M. Mountain and her husband Keith, of Florida, Cindy J. Marion and her husband Patrick, of Bangor, Pennsylvania, Lynda A. Johnson and her fiancée Chris Coles, of Oregon; one son, Thomas R. Johnson and wife Barbara, of Allenwood, Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sylvia is proceeded in death by her sister Audrey Levandoski.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family on Friday, August 14, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at noon at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ 08809, with Chaplain Nathan King, of Saint Luke's Hospice, officiating. Burial will follow at Rural Hill Cemetery in White House Station.
