So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We grew up together, played together as children. Jim prevailed upon me to teach him how to drive his new standard shift car when he got it [which I did do]. While we were out of touch for many years after both of us grew up and moved on, a few years back I ran across Jim at the local Home Depot, when both of us were doing something for our respective mothers' houses. He recognized me and reached out very glad to see me and I was also happy to see him after so many years. My heartfelt condolences extend to the family on this sad occasion.
