Obituary of Dennis Raymond Sohn
Dennis Raymond Sohn, age 55, of Clinton, NJ passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born December 8, 1957 in Somerset, NJ and is the son of and Dolores (Rosalsky) and the late the late Henry Sohn.
Dennis served in the US Army from 1978-1980. He was a driver for County Concrete Corporation in Oxford, NJ. Dennis and Denise were avid NY Giants fan as well as season ticket holders. They also traveled to two Super Bowls. He was an avid Sunday NASCAR watcher and he loved the ocean. He also was awarded a Brown Belt in Tae Kwan Do.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Dolores (Rosalsky) Sohn; his sisters: Debra Fuchs of Easton, PA., Diane Throckmortan of Hampton, NJ, and Denise, "his earth angel", of whom he shared the same birthday, of Danville, Pa. Additional survivors included his loving nieces and nephews, Michael and Rachael Throckmorton and Erica and Richard Fuchs, his aunt Margaret of Danville, Pa., his aunt Fran of Bayonne, NJ and his cousin, Charise. He also leaves behind a dear family friend, Paul Dunklee. Dennis was predeceased by his father, Henry Sohn in 1984, his uncle Charlie and his grandpop, Stanley.
Dennis's Life Celebration includes a Memorial Gathering at Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, NJ on Thursday, February 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be a Catholic Blessing offered at 6:00 pm also Thursday evening at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately.
