Pap Pap~
You always had a warm-hearted readiness to help everyone and were exceptionally clever and talented. Thinking back to some of the earliest memories shared with you like family picnics and sleepovers with hot cocoa in the morning. You would be reading the newspaper and I would take the comics. We would always play chinese checkers, trouble, and do word search puzzles. I am grateful for all the time you took to teach me math. You were always very patient and extremely wise.
On the farm we would take the quad out back and feed the geese and cows. You always loved having the dogs around as well. I remember the NYC cruise and I'll forever rember all the summers spent in Maine. I loved waking up making big pancakes, playing in the lake, going on the boat, and eatting endless amounts of seafood. I loved finding seashells with you and arranging them on big rocks. I'll forever keep the two picture frames you made me. You were always so thoughtful and crafty. You noticed I needed a new drawer front for my kitchen and you constructed one out of wood that worked and looked amazing. You always created wood animal structures as well. Truly brilliant you were.
Going to Easter services with you, all the many trips to chinese buffets, going to Olive Garden and the Crackerbarrel are some more great memories. I loved going to Morgantown and Atlantic City.
Lastly, I remember you were there to help teach me how to drive, help me with my car and even drove with me when I lived far because the roads were bad. You were always there , always caring and I'm entirely grateful for everything. I will miss you so very much.
